I just finished some preliminary tests on my IC765 / IC761 setup.
The initial results look promising, The Icom radios are responding
to TR better than ever before.

This was a KEY addition. It still loses it's mind to NONSSB
frequently, but immediately returns to the correct freq and mode.

The only downside, is that the NONSSB "event" still renders AUTO S&P
useless. I use this feature mostly in the Sprint. The reason it
renders AUTO S&P useless, is that if you are CQing with AUTO S&P
enabled, it will frequently jump into S&P mode (mid CQ) whenever the
NONSSB event occurs.

Still it looks like a *big* improvement. Fewer wrong band logged
QSOs means less real-time editing, which means better rhythm. Much
improved two-radio operation with Icom rigs. Auto-CQ seems to work
the way it's supposed to now in two-radio operation. The AUTO-CQ
timer is no longer "going brain dead" while rig 2 is being tuned.

The IARU contest should shake out any further gremlins. Looking
forward to testing out 6.28 this weekend under actual contest conditions.

Thanks Rich! Thanks Tree!
