Thanks for your input. I am using both serial and parallel
ports to key the two rigs. The parallel port (lpt1) is used
for paddle input and to key the IC-761, the serial port is
used to key the IC-765. You're the third person to suggest
a circuit using opto-isolators, and I will look into this.
