[TRLog] JA Int DX contest

Well after running the JA contest without any problems with TR, I was
ready to do Post.

Noticed a couple of things that would be nice to have fixed by next
year. Or maybe it was
my operator error.

1. The last page of the log had no line entry for valid QSOs or Pts.
Not sure if Mults was to have a total or not. (Yes I closed out the
contest before running Post.) The other pages had the totals plus
running totals.

2. When doing Post, it said one of my log entries was in the wrong zone
and "fixed it" for me (I must have pushed the wrong button). It changed
the prefecture from 34 to 32 and recomputed the score and ZONEs. Well
the problem is this, I had a prefecture 32 worked later in the contest.
The program double counted the prefecture 32. I looked at the log and
my original 34 was correct so I edited the changes including the Summary
sheet and score. But if I had not noticed the double count on the zone
it would have made an error in the scoring.

3. Program allows Prefectures above 50 to be entered, would be nice if
it did not allow but 1 thru 50.

4. It would be convenient if in the Post program there was a PRINT LOGS
, Summary, Dupe and any other thing that needs to be printed option. I
used the edit function to do this, but it would make the program easier
for the new user to be able to do it from Post. This is not addressed
in the manual (unless I overlooked it).

The Program worked great in a windows98 window, with a Kenwood 950SDX
and Packet going the entire time. Makes running contest fun, and TR is
by far the best in my book. The above observations are only sent to
help improve the JAIDX contest part of the program and make things even
easier for the new user.

Guess if we asked for a windows version TR Log , Tree would either quit
or have a divorce on his hands. hi hi...

Thanks
Ralph
