Udo,
Thanks to the SENDCW command, here's how to make a sort of QTC
simulator for practice.
In POST make an ARRL type log of your WAE log.dat ( or any other
with serial numbers), say DL2ZAV.log. Then using a spreadsheet
import this into columns ( I use Tools|Data tools|Quick columns
in Quattro Pro) , but I'm sure Excel or Lotus 123 could do the
same.
Now delete all columns except Time, callsign, and serial number,
and then save this file as ( say) c:\myfiles\qtctest.txt using
Tab delimited ASCII format.
Then from TR issue the following command TR SENDCW
c:\myfiles\qtctest.txt, and TR will send the whole log for you
in QTC format. Of course they come one after another without the
opportunity to take a breather while you QSL! Perhaps Tree can
incorporate this in to a proper simulator, shouldn't be too hard
for a guru like him( grovel grovel!)
If you have another computer you could enter these QTCs into say
Notepad or a word processor, and then later check your accuracy.
Good luck!
