Cool!! Got it working fine with one minor exception... I could only make it
work on the CQ and Exchange menu, not the Other. Is there some trick to
that? I can program the string into "1" on Other, for example, but when I
go to use it, it just enters 1 into the logging field instead of sending the
message. What am I doing wrong? Otherwise, works great.
One other question on the same subject. I found you can chain commands, so
I put in the following command for F1:
CQ SSB MEMORY F1 = SRS=TX;SRS=PB1; (The square is Ctrl-C or -D, as
appropriate)
This turns on the TX before calling CQ. What I'd like to do is return to RX
after calling CQ, but if I put the command at the end, it gets executed
immediately. What you get is the TX turns on then off immediately, and the
message sends. Is there any way around this? Some kind of delay in the
command issue? I know I could use VOX, but would rather not. What I have
done for now is to make F3=return to RX, and then hit it manually.
Thanks,
Bill, W7TI
