John,

One of the goals is to keep the user interace as close as possible to TRLog
for DOS, and keeping the program within the Windows Style Guidelines. All
well designed Windows program do have shortcut keys that take the place of
mouse functions. During a contest you just want to make the contact, enter
the data and go to the next contact.

So the answer is yes, you wont have to use the mouse in the program, as all
funtions will have shortcut keys. However, some of the shortcut keys may not
be the same ones as in TRLog, due to certain keys and key combos being
already assigned as Windows function keys.

FYI, Tree and George are looking at some prototype code I created and their
input will be some of the driving forces with the user interface code.

Now some may ask, who is CSS?

I'm Rick Ruhl, W4PC, first licenced in 1981 as N4GDO. I've been in the
computer industry for 20 years and have own Creative Services Software since
1988. We're a 13 year old software development company, that entered the ham
market back in 1997 with Pacterm '98 for the Kantronics TNCs. In December
1999, we took over development, sales at support of Log Windows. Log Windows
is owned by Les Scofield, W4SCO.

CSS has 5 employees, including me,, they are

Sydney Harper: VP KF4WGU
Bill Cambell: Sales, QA and support WD4HEN
Christy Henson: developer, tester, doc KF4ZWF
Teresa Little: sales and office assistant, KG4NFV (yep, she's a new ham).

If anyone has any questions, feel free to email me at this address (I use
this address for keeping track of the reflectors), or at ricker@cssincorp.com
or call me or my staff at 256-381-6100. We'll be glad to answer any
questions you have.

Best

Rick - W4PC
