I posted the paragraph below to the beta list before
6.73 was released. The symptom did not occur with the
released version of 6.73 during WPX CW, but it returned
during the RAC. It seems to be a contest dependent problem.
So far it has only occurred with the FQP and the RAC.

Mults Needed Window in upper right hand corner flickers
whenever in CW transmit mode, even if radio keying is
turned off (no RF.) The flickering is visually distracting.
