Thanks, I copied your statements into a very basic cfg and it worked.
Just as you said, the frequency display momemtarily goes away but then
returns. Backtracking, in my cfg, which as I said I used with my Omni, I
found and removed this statement:
FILTER RADIO MESSAGE LENGTH = TRUE.
For whatever reason, that is a killer for the Orion.
