Hi James, Here's how CTRL-V works. Let's say you're going to Brevard, Volusia and Flagler counties (preferably not today). Create a text file with all the cw messages and any other config items specific to Brevard. Save it as Bre Just those 3 letters, no dot plus extension. Do the same for Volusia and name it Vol Ditto for Fla Now, when you enter Brevard you hit CTRL-V. TR will ask you for a file name. Type Bre <Enter>. Bingo, all your messages etc are the ones you want for Brevard. When you enter Volusia do the same except that you type Vol <Enter> and now you're set for Volusia. Similarly, Fla <Enter> for Flagler. No need to shut down TR during any of this. Nothing special about the file names, other than meeting DOS requirements. Put extensions on if you want but it takes longer to type. You could name the files B, V and F if you want. You could use the config files you wrote for your batch file solution. Just hit CTRL-V and enter the file name of the appropriate config file. CTRL-V will, I think, change any of the config parameters listed in the Appendix. If not, I'm sure it can be used to change any of the parameters you can change with CTRL-J. Let me know if you need any additional help with this. 73 de Jim Smith VE7FO James Walter wrote: Hi All,
