The 8 port card seems to run FB under Win98SE. (I
put a loopback plug
into one of the ports and Hyperterminal was able to
talk to itself.)
I can't seem to get it to talk to the MkV from a DOS
box.
Maybe you need to install Byterunner's PCI drivers for
DOS? DOS doesn't recognize PCI, even from a win98 dos
box, so you need the drivers.
I have about 60% confidence in the accuracy of that
statement :>)
You can ask the Byterunner guy on the phone. He's
pretty knowledgeable
