Here is what I have:

CONTEST = GENERAL QSO
DISPLAY MODE = COLOR
RELAY CONTROL PORT = serial /dev/ttyUSB3
RADIO ONE TYPE = k2
RADIO ONE NAME = <<<<Left
RADIO ONE CONTROL PORT = serial /dev/ttyUSB0
radio one baud rate = 38400
RADIO TWO TYPE = k2
RADIO TWO NAME =  Right>>>>
RADIO TWO CONTROL PORT = serial /dev/ttyUSB1
radio two baud rate = 38400
winkeyer port = serial /dev/ttyUSB2
PACKET PORT = SERIAL shell
SOUNDCARD DEVICE = plughw:0,0
beep soundcard enable = true
MY GRID = em00uf
DISTANCE MODE = MILES
HOUR DISPLAY = LAST SIXTY MINUTES
CQ SSB MEMORY F1 = rs=swt21;
TWO RADIO MODE = TRUE
BAND MAP ENABLE = TRUE
PACKET BEEP = FALSE
FREQUENCY POLL RATE = 10
PACKET SPOT EDIT ENABLE = TRUE
PACKET SPOTS = ALL
POSSIBLE CALL MODE = ALL
SKIP ACTIVE BAND = TRUE
DE ENABLE = FALSE
S&P EXCHANGE = 5nn
VHF BAND ENABLE = TRUE
KENWOOD RESPONSE TIMEOUT = 200

The kenwood response timeout seems to make a diffrence for me.
Otherwise the frequency disappears every so often.
The default is 25 and that does not work - I am not sure 200 is the best
but that seems to solve my issue.
