Vernon Im about 95% CW also but I listen to several trader nets on 80
this is where the noise blanker really helps on the Omni V. I have a 
problem on my paragon that the switch on the NB is disconnected for
some reason "probaly wire broke when I repaired lamp" check it out 
you may have a minor problem there that you can repair.
