Any Omni VI+ Owners had a chance to give the rig a workout on 160 meters,
especially weak stuff with high QRN? I know it's a bit late in the
season, but thinking ahead to next winter. New rig fever....
How does the VI+ stack up on receive against the Icom 765 and Kenwood
TS940, or against the 1000D? These three have low noise floors per QST
lab tests, but the measured noise floor and sensitivity of the Omni VI
(not the VI+) per ARRL lab appear to be not as good on 160 m... very good
on 20 meters but not 160....
Any correlation?
