Hi gang,
Even though the question was sent only to Omni VI and VI + users, I take the
liberty to answer even though my Omni V won't adjust sidetone frequency.
I prefer to hear the sidetone lower than "standard"...maybe 500 Hz.
I operate cw less than 25 % of the time, and have such outstanding signal
quality and audio reports that I cannot understand why Ten Tecs are thought
of as especially cw rigs. They are especially good ham rigs!
