What a great group of HAMs. I think Ten Tec owners must have a special
bond. I received LOTS of information about the lettered Omni series. I
thank each of you for your time and sharing your knowledge with me. What
I found out was this: the 255 power supply isn't that rare; many of you
have them or see them on a fairly regular basis at HAM fests. The matching
antenna tuner was the 229 (kw model) or the 227/228 (200w model). I do
have one more question though; while I am waiting to find a "killer deal"
on a matching power supply I will be running the Omni C from a Tripp Lite
PR-30 unit. Does anyone have the address of a place I can get the little
circuit breaker that goes in the power cord when your not using a TT power
supply? Thanks again.
