Ten Tec Gang,
I am getting ready to install a Model Voice Readout Board into a Paragon
585. The board was previously in an Omni VI. The Instructions say that for
installation in a 585 you must install a diode, and give a location on the
board for the diode. The location of the diode on the board has no plated
through holes, so the location is not clear. Nearest I can figure the diode
goes between the 'not SPCH' pin on the edge connector and pins 12 and 13 of
U9 a 7400, with the cathode end towards the edge connector. This requires
cutting a trace on the board.
Can anyone confirm this or correct me if I am wrong?
Thanks in advance,
George
