I posted a while back (1 month?) about my PM3A whose front end mixer
FET died at the same time I had a nearby severe lightning storm (but
the radio was disconnected from the antenna, teaching me a lesson about
nearby lightning).
Anyway, after a couple of suggestions I put a 40673 into the circuit,
replacing the existing transistor, and the rig hears better than ever,
with no difficulty or adjustments.
Just a note in case someone else experiences a similar failure.
