Amazing! I've bought a dozen TT rigs over the past century and all the
PTO's needed rebuilding due to frequency jumping or a rubbery feel to the
drive. Sometimes you could turn the knob and let go then watch it slowly
ooze it way another 1/4 inch or so.
Is it possible your area in which you live promotes the preseveration of
grease? What could this be?
