I have been using my Omni VI with DXbase for about seven years and it's the
ONLY radio that will work with ALL of the features of DXbase, i.e., my
IC-781 will not utilize all the functions. Surprised to hear you cant get
DX5Win to work, as they featured the Omni VI with that software. Are you
sure you made up a serial cable exactly the way the manual tells you to
build it ?
