The TT Scout FLS mod is in the July 1994 QST Hints & Kinks, page 81, I believe.
It is a mod to allow the FLS system to operate from an external key/keyer. The
internal keyer, if used, will still lock out the FLS, tho. It is a useful
mod if one is willing to move some wires around inside the very busy guts of
the Scout.
The author of the mod, Chuck, W5UXH, owned the Scout I just sold and also
prompted me with the reference to the H & K article.
