Hi All,
Thanks so much for all of you who lended a hand to solve my problem with
the
Omni VI+ display reset problem. My problem was that each time I shut the rig
off
the display would go to 14.000.00 no matter what band you were on before I
shut
the rig off. As well as the clock would go back to 12:00.
The remedy:
On the logic board just to the right of the lithium battery there is
a diode (z4).
This diode was installed backwards.....hum that simple. Not really I had to
get
Ten Tec involved they gave me the direction to check out the diode. Rig works
well now, I'm so happy.
