For Sale Ten-Tec Argonaut 509 Transceiver.
Transceiver works well. Physical configuration and condition is as
follows: Unit is configured with the add-on 245 CW filter PCB mounted
inside the transceiver NOT in an external add on enclosure like the
208. Selection of the CW bandwidths are selected by a rotary switch
located on and thru the rear panel.
Front panel is about a '7' paint wise. Paint at top edge is scratched off
at numerous locations but this cannot be seen looking directly at the front.
Control markings are fine except for the AF Gain and Power off
lettering. It should be AF GAIN and POWER ON-OFF. It is .. .AIN and
PO... ON-.FF Dots(...) specify incomplete or missing letters.
Plastic dial is great as is the VFO knob and skirt.
Rear panel is OK but the 'manufacturing and model' lettering is not
complete. Power-in has been modified to a DC coaxial connector and antenna
has been changed to a BNC.
Inside is clean.
Comes with an original manual, power cord, and hand microphone.
