I recently built an Oak Hills Research WM-2 QRP Wattmeter. It has scales
of 100mw, 1W, and 10W full-scale. Last night I put it in line with my TT 238
tuner to check which (of it or the OmniVI, or both!) was giving me bad power
readings at QRP levels. I was completely surprised to find that the 238
tuner matches identically with the WM-2 at 5W and 10W levels. (That is all
I really care to do...) At 1W, the motion of the needle on the 238 was
minimal, but it was TRYING to indicate 1W...
For reference, the OmniVI gave readings of 16W at an honest 10W,
12.5W at an honest 5W, and 6W at an honest 1W.
I thought this information might be useful to some folks out on this reflector.
