Hi Keith--

I believe the crystal calibrator was optional. The audio filter may have
been, as well.
For size, operation, features, and everything else, suggest you look at the
Argosy. It is a little deeper in size, but runs switchable 5 or 50 watts
output, has true superheterodyne receiver with provision for optional
crystal filter and on and on.

Probably you can find an Argosy for about the same price as the Century 22.
With the Argosy, as well, everything was optional so find one equipped with
everything you think you may need. The exception to this is the audio CW
filter which is available as a kit from Embedded Research, and the crystal
filters, which are available from Ten-Tec and which turn up on this
reflector often.

How easy is it to find C22's? I'm interested in getting one again but
haven't seen any listed for sale anywhere. Are they as tough to get as the
515?? Were there any options for the C22 or was everything built in?

Of course I owned a 515 with all the options and a C22. Both have been
sold.

Kick Kick Kick Kick Kick. (the sound of me kicking myself).
