I seem to remember that there was some one in Maryland (?) who was modifying
OMNI-C's to cure the pop problem and some grounding problems.
This was around the time of the OMNI-C (i.e. a whle ago).
The mod was not blessed/discouraged/etc. by TenTec. Maybe TenTec could give
you some info.
Used to operate at N3ARK's who had a C...that pop was wicked..but rig was
greta!
