Hi Carl,
I replaced the Electroluminescent panel in my Delta II and the results
have been very favorable, indeed. The panel I got was blue-green and it
is much brighter than I ever remember my D-II ever being. I bought mine
refurbished from Ten-Tec in 1993 and have been very pleased with it. (I
do have a problem recently on CW, but that is another story) I can't say
how long it will last but it still is doing very nicely. The original
information from a Lockheed engineer said that his data on the material,
which is used in the F-22 instrumentation, was that it would last 10,000
hours. I measured the resistance of the material before I installed it
and it read infinity at 20 megohms, so it isn't going to "burn"out!
