Eric,
I can tune my C-3 with the 238. I follow the procedure in the 238 manual with
very low power. Trying to take shortcuts seem to always take me longer. Of
course once I found the right settings, I can go back to them again. Also I
believe the actual length of your feedline can cause wide variances in settings.
This is probably not much help, but maybe a little encouragement.
73,
Ken W7TS

According to Force 12, I should be able to tune up my C-3SS yagi on 12m and
17m with an antenna tuner.

It doesn't seem to work with my 238.

Are there any special tricks to using the 238 I don't know?

Thanks,
Eric W3DQ
