[TenTec] vfo hook for Corsair 11 with 243 vfo

Question? How do you hook up the 243 VFO with CorsairII? Manual says for
OMNI  remove the jumper wire between VFO IN and VFO OUT on the phono
jacks on the rear panel  and replace the bottom cover??? Do I have to do
the same thing with the
Corsair II??
