This reflector is getting a little too busy for my schedule but I do have to
offer a response!!!! I brought my Corsair home from a ham fest on a
Sunday and spoke to Ten-Tec Support on Monday I didn't have a manual as the
seller was going to send it to me. The tech spent an hour with me on a
twenty year + rig. The only way to get someone at Yaesu to do the same
was to have a multiple year friendship with a senior manager who had some free
time to help me correct some problems with my 1000D. After they stopped
convulsing that i wanted to repair the thing my self somebody snuck me some
replacement parts. ICOM was willing to repair my 706 with the blown 2 VHF
finals out of the box but would they send me the parts...only if I was
interested in VOIDING the warranty....Ten Tec will bail me out after I screw up
with my fat little fingers much like my buddy VE3NGW has to keep sending me new
tubes for my Drake C Station....I'll take Ten Tec anytime since Drake doesn't
make HF Gear anymore.....<br>
