Hello All,
I own a Ten Tec Argosy 525. It is a early version. Serial # 00803.
First, I'm looking for the correct schematics. My owners manual has later
versions of the schematics.
I'm looking for schematics that match my rig which are:
RF/Mixer 80784 Rev B
IF/AF 80785 Rev A
Control Board 80871 Rev A
OSC/Mixer 80787 Rev A
SSB Gen 80780A Rev A
Does anyone have these schematics that I can get a copy of?
Second, and why I'm looking for these schematics in the first place. I just
bought a Model 219 CW 250Hz CW filter for my Argosy. When I engage the
filter, I see about a 6 to 10 DB (guessing) drop in the signal level on my
S-meter. I checked the filter out on a network analyzer and the filter
checks out fine. Our next thought was that maybe the receiver is slightly
out of alignment. Any thoughts on this from anyone as to why this loss of
signal once the CW filter is engaged?
