As a long-time Ten-Tec owner/fan, I am disappointed in the (IMHO) cheesy
fit-and-finish of the Centaur amplifier -- far huskier inside than my
Ameritron AL-811, but no comparison on the outside. My all-plastic
bandswitch has cracked and come off, and now one of the four dinky toggle
switches has failed.
My repair skills are up to removing & replacing four easy-to-get-to (but
are they?) switches, but not much beyond. Anyone out there who's replaced
them with better-quality switches? Or, anyone who would like to buy this
otherwise-fine Centaur?
