  Subject: [TenTec] Scout RIT Mod?

  Hi Gang,
  =20
  I have a friend that's starting to get into DX'ing, and he's using a =
Scout. Naturally, he's run into the situation with guys running split =
frequencies, and the Scout doesn't split beyond stock RIT settings.=20
  =20
Has anyone modified the RIT on a Scout to go past 2.5 kHz (i.e., 10-15 =
kHz total spread)? What would that mod be?
  =20
  Thanks,
  Mike KI6PR
