[TenTec] Omni VI and Heil mike

I am trying to use a Heil pro-set microphone with my Omni VI and can't seem 
to get it to work with VOX  (or PTT for that matter). I believe that I have 
the microphone plug on the headset wired correctly to pins 1 and 2 of the 
microphone connector.  Is there anything else I need to do? I am sure this 
combination must be in widespread use.
