[TenTec] QUESTION FOR CORSAIR I OWNERS

I am in the process of purchaing a CORSAIR I. The question I have is in 
regards to the add-on filters. For serious CW operations is the standard 
filter satisfactory or is the 500 Hz(Model 285) or 250 Hz (Model 282)
