DesqView used to run Windoze 3 as a task, but it might not run windoze
95. Since neither will run on a Hercules mono card, my packet computer
doesn't have that complication to contend with.
Likely Log-eqf is constantly polling the none interrupt driven standard
BIOS serial driver so as to not miss anything when it should have
replaced that serial driver with something buffered and interrupt driven
like any decent DOS communications program had to do. Serial
communications and hardware interrupts were last minute afterthoughts
that were not well done in the PC family.
