TenTec Panel paints do NOT like cleaners such as "409" etc. They make the
paint run and really mess things up in general.

Suggested Painting of metal (including aluminum) panels:
1. Clean all surfaces down to bare metal.
2. Insure metal is clean with no dust or residue on metal.
3. Heat oven to 200 degrees.
4. Spray primer on all metal surfaces to be painted and bake in 200 degree
oven for about 10 minutes. HINT: set on coffee can or other device to hold
above metal oven grates...with only NON-painted surface touching coffee can /
other oven metal.
5. Remove from oven and let cool for about 20 minutes.
6. Spray paint over all surfaces to be painted and again set in 200 degree
oven for about 20 minutes.
7. Remove from oven and let cool.
8. Apply rub-on letters to panels, etc.
9. Spray very thin coat of clear acrilic paint over rub-off letters and
entire panel (too heavy coating of this will cause the letters to "melt into"
the painted surface)
10. Let dry for at least 2 hours before handling.
Now your cabinet is ready to reassemble and use.
Good Luck
