All this talk about horizontal fins is quite interesting. But
since warmed air rises, it would not appear to me that it would be
very hindered by a flat surface, open on 3 sides.
No one has mentioned it, but the fins on the 100-amp power supply
Ten-Tec builds for the Hercules can be, apparently, used either
way - there are rubber feet that permit setting the unit with the
fins horizontal or vertical.
