You will need 2 COM ports to hook up:
1) your rig to the computer, and
2) your PK-232 to the computer
You will need to know which rig the Omni VI+ emulates before you enter
Logger. Others should be able to help you there. I think the Omni VI
is the same (basically) as the IC-735, with an address of 04. (I
think some on the Logger list have had difficulty interfacing the
PK-232 -- but that may have been resolved.)
I'm using the Omni V.9 modification with Logger and it's been great -
stable and reliable.
