Mike, the scout's rf deck will not handle 6 meters and would've cost lots
more, had there been changes in current design. This is according to posts
in the past i've read
in the archives. But you can use the 1208 transverter, with the scout on 20
meters, to pretty good effect on 6 meters. It puts 8 watts out which when
fed into a 6 element 6 meter yagi up about 60 feet, its like having 600
watts. Give or take. More or less.
If thats not good enough, you can drive a 6 meter amplifier for more power.
