Here's one method:

Get 4 plastic drywall anchors and mount them to the 4 holes on each corner
of the fan using sheet metal screws so that the anchors stick out away
from the fan. Then gently shove the 4 anchors between the fins of the
heatsink.  You may even have some anchors laying around the house left
over from a mirror, towel bar or some other project. 73
