Gang,
Got my Jupiter last week and was favorably impressed with it until I engaged
the Automatic Notch. With the audio volume above 35% and Auto Notch on, I
get what sounds like "frying eggs" along with the received audio.
It's LOUD, but disappears immediately upon unselecting "AN". Is this an
artifact left over from the DSP algorithm. I have not observed anything
like it during two years plus operation with a Pegasus.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Reflashing with the latest Ten-Tec firmware made no difference.
