Curious as to why he wouldn't be specific; after all, it is MY $2500
radio that is getting tinkered with and it would be nice to know what is

I am not a dyed-in-the-wool SSTVer, just an occasional and casual
receive only SWLer, but when using the Chromapix SSTV software which
includes an audio spectrum analyzer, it certainly appears that more than
1600 Hz is getting through.
