I believe that the Jupiter suffers from the same problem as the Pegasus
regarding the speaker. The speaker must not be grounded. People have told me
that this is mentioned in the Jupiter documentation.  Although the Pegasus
has no external speaker jack, I disconnected the internal speaker and used
the speaker leads to connect an external one. When I used my station speaker
(a Kenwood SP940, which was grounded), it did not work - all I got was a
loud buzz.  When I disconnected the speaker's ground all was fine.

Obviously, the logic board (where the speaker output is) is at a different
ground than the rest of the Pegasus.
