I was lucky enough to buy an Omni VI/Opt1 from another list member, so now I
can see how it really compares to the Elecraft K2 (#1678 :-) ).
Browsing thru the Omni VI manual, noticed a cable diagram for hooking up the
Ten-Tec auto antenna tuner... seems that the autotuner is triggered via a
signal from the RS-232 port (probably an unused pin). Shouldn't be too hard
to make up a cable and/or circuit that would allow the TUNE button to put
the LDG AT-11MP in TUNE mode either... should it? Has anyone out there done
this?
