I have a question or two with anyone using the
Jupiter with a Heil BM-10 or Goldline.
I have only had the rig for a couple of days but it
seems that it takes relatively more mic gain with
this rig to achieve the appropriate ALC
indications then it it with my Yaesu rig. Of course
with the Yaesu I was used to having the ALC reading
on the meter. (not a little red lamp)
So...
Approximately where do you have your mic gain set?
And ....when you are using processing.. how much
compression are you using (I would guess maybe no
more then 20% or so)?
