[TenTec] Model 526 Audio Problem

Hi All,
I have had this radio out of the box for only a couple of hours and have
discovered that it has a transmit audio problem. FM and SSB on both 2 and 6
meters. At ptt, the audio is weak and slowly builds to a respectable level
after about 2 seconds. Others complain that in this initial first 2 seconds
my audio is distorted and weak. I did a master reset for the heck of it, no
change. Any thoughts.
