The Jupiter has the same circuit as the Pegasus. It is a DSP IF
transceiver and it has a TCXO for the master oscillator. The 
frequency is very stable. I do not know how it could jump frequency.
I have a Pegasus and it is very stable. The Jupiter is nothing like 
the Scout.
