[TenTec] Remote VFO Question for Triton's

Hi all:
I have a perfect Triton II that I love to operate.
Have had it so long that did not look at the back before I purchased a
Remote VFO for it.
It appears that the Triton II does not have the capability to use a remote
VFO.
Now the question... Has anyone ever tried to use a 242 VFO with a Triton II?
