Hi,
Have had my new Pegasus about three weeks now.
Been powering it with the 962. Have noticed the supply
cabinet runs very warm (almost hot, really).
Decided to try powering with a 961 I have here for the
"old" Corsair II. Surprised to find the 961 cabinet does
not feel warm at all, even after several hours of being
"on".
Wonder if the main difference in heat output, while the
Peg is just receiving most of the time, is the difference
in transformers used. Understand the 962's main
delta to the 961 was a transformer change.
Whatever, the 961 runs cooler here while powering the
Pegasus.
