[TenTec] QRP with "stock" OMNI VI

Dear Serious QRPers,
     Can one run a "stock" OMNI VI at 1-2 watts efficiently and without
distortion?  I have an OMNI V which has a Ten Tec Factory QRP mod which
goes down to 1.5 watts and performs well.
     Also, will the new Ten Tec QRP rig have a keyer?  Latest data about
the new QRP rig on their WEB Site is dated Dec 2001, but understand it
will be available soon.  Any product review out on that?
